At the end it is worth noticing that the word “outsourcing” has become an umbrella term. Not everything which is transferred to a third party can be considered as outsourced. For instance – service called “managed services”.

Although it can be often perceived as some kind of outsourcing, this term emphasises business purpose, that goes far beyond the cost savings. Hence, it is worth to recall, that even though outsourcing is a very wide phrase, not everything can be part of this “category”.
